Our Story of Hope
This foundation was created after Charl Munnik‘s tragic passing. He was quietly dedicated to helping children in children’s homes.
Suzanne Haylett, Charl’s sister, discovered her brother’s remarkable legacy of kindness only after his passing.
The Beginning of Our Foundation
Arie Fourie joined Suzanne to establish a charity to carry Charl’s compassion forward and bring meaningful change to such underprivileged children.
Our foundation is built on the belief that every child deserves the chance to dream, hope and feel safe.

Inspired by Charl’s legacy, we aim to allow each child to dream new dreams, regardless of their circumstances.
Through the generosity of our supporters, we help create safer, brighter and more hopeful environments for children who need them most.
Our Projects
Each of our projects is designed to meet the specific needs of that particular children’s home and bring comfort and joy to the children.
From renovating bathrooms for accessibility at the Sean Kelly Care Centre for Multi-Sensory Disabled Children to providing new bedding and fixing leaking roofs at Steinthal Children’s Home, every act of kindness brings new light and stability to these homes.
Clothing, shoes and bulk food supplies ensure each child has what they need to feel safe, warm and cared for.
Special touches, like hosting an annual Christmas party for 150 children at Steinthal Children’s Home, add moments of joy and community, celebrating the small victories that come with a life touched by compassion.
